Submitting "Store your Information" Report

Last Tuesday me and my friend Ameera met Mr. Tridib to show him The PHP work and the website I created as well. He really impressed what we have done and he clarified lots of thing for us. In addition, we were almost finished our work but still the PHP student working in the Admin Page and we are really happy about what we have done so far as this project was a challenge for us. I really learnt a lot from it as working with codes in not easy. Moreover, we have submitted the project on Thursday and we satisfied about our work.

Store Your Information "XAMPP"

Last week I have designed the website for store your information project as the function specification student did as a template. Then I send it for the PHP student to complete the work and she is still working on it.

Final Step "Store your Information"

Last week we finished planning the website and the admin menu. We show it to Mr. Tridib and he really liked it and he said that is excellent work but some points are missing so he explained for us more to make it clear. Now all the group trying to implement what we planned for the website in order to help PHP student and still we are working on it.

Store Your Information

When I was searching on the net I found a website on how to access mySQL Database Using PHP and I think it will be useful for the PHP group so I send it to my friend Ameera as she must be expert on it. The mySQL expertise has finished her work and showed me how she worked on it and PHP expertise must go ahead with her job by using mySQL IP address of mySQL staff or by transferring all the files to her laptop. Therefore, Fatma transfer all the files to Ameera’s Laptop. Moreover, I set a meeting with the group in order to check the work and organize it as well.

Forms in Dreamweaver

Last week I spent 1 hour and half to learn how to make forms in Dreamweaver and the tutorial I found was very useful and helpful a lot. therefore, I designed Registration Forms to my website and now i'm expert now on it. During this week I will help my friend Bushra who work on the "functional specification" as making form should be done by us.

My progress in "Store your information"

Last week I read the project document that is posted in Mr. Tridib site to make sure that we covered everything and see what we have to do next. So I find out that one of my duties is to design forms in Dreamweaver and I started to find some tutorials to learn more about it. Therefore, I found excellent tutorial that I think will help me a lot.

Last week I worked with other groups who did the same part as mine. We sat together and I explained to them what I learnt from my part and then they explained to me what they know about XAMPP and where are they now and what we have to do next. In addition, we tried to understand what each folder mean in the explore link, but we found some difficulties in understanding the directory of this folders. We searched on the net to learn more or to find out new information about these folders but we couldn’t find and I’m still searching to clarify this issue.

Store Your Information "XAMPP"

Last Tuesday, Mr. Tridib explained and gave us more information about “store your information” project. So he met all the students who work on the same topic and explained in detail and what we suppose to do? In addition, he helped some students who failed in installing the XAMPP program and then explained it for all the class by going through each link and icon in the program.

In this class I learnt many things such as how to enter my colleague computer by the IP address in order to see her work and then complete it. Moreover, I learn other student’s topics and now I understand what each student in my group must do?

As a result, I searched for more information that I have to know about my topic as Mr. Tridib clarified and I spent 2 hours. I found out an FAQ page about XAMPP website that helped me clarify some hidden points.

Searching in the Library Catalouge

I’m still searching for information as some stuff still not clear for me. So I spent 45 minutes searching in the library Catalogue and I found lost of print books and e-books about Web-Database. I downloaded one e-book under a title “Beginning PHP5, Apache, and MySQL Web development” but still I didn’t go through it and I will read it this week. As well as, I reserved some prints books and I will go to pick them tomorrow and see if these books will help in my topic.

My group also still they are searching for information in order to be able to explain for us as some point is not clear for them.

XAMPP

Store Your Information "XAMPP"

Last Week I worked with Fatma in her part as she has to split the database we created into two databases depending on some criteria. We tried to Separate the database but we couldn't so Fatma will search to find a program ease her work.

I'm still searching for new information about XAMPP as I spent only one hour because last week we have lots of stuff to submit.

During this week I will set a meeting with my group in order to see where we are now and what we have to do next and what information we have to share and find out. Moreover, I want to learn from my group what the important things they discovered while they working on their parts.

XAMPP Control Panel Application

During this week, I spent 6 hours searching more information on the net for XAMPP and how I can use it. In addition, I look for XAMPP tutorials in order to know how it’s works and what each link in the program means or have.

In addition, I learnt that the most important folder is “htdocs” this is where all your files for your webpage are going to go. In this folder you can create folders for the images, scripts and even for your files.

One of the group members "Fatma" explained to me her subject as I got general information about her topic which MY SQL.

This week I will share my information with my team members and I will learn from them as well.

Dear All

This week we initiate working on new project which is "Store your information". We read the project document carefully with the group as well as with the teacher and we understand it very well. After that, we divided the work between us and each member in the group will be expert in one topic and then explain those points to each other in order to be expert as well. My topic is about XAMPP so I download the program and I started searching about my topic and learn more about it.
